Kuala Lumpur is a bustling city with colonial-style buildings and glittering skyscrapers. The Petronas Twin Towers, a pair of #skyscrapers with a sky bridge and observation deck, the Petaling Street flea market, and the more than 400 million-year-old Batu Caves are just a few of the well-known attractions of #malaysia capital.

The urban population's intellect was acknowledged in 2020 when #kualalumpur was named the World Book Capital by UNESCO. A city like Kuala Lumpur is a beacon of hope for the future, showing that it is possible to blend cosmopolitanism with spirit in the present day when people are reading fewer books than ever.

Kuala Lumpur is one of the best known cities for skyscrapers. Its soaring twin towers were once the tallest buildings in the world, and have been an icon of the city.

17 years ago me and my wife decided to spend a few days in Malaysia, a few months later we thought why not to spend the new year in KL? Another few months later we decided to spend our summer holiday this year in Perhentian Islands and then we discovered that we fell in love with this country, it's people, it's nature, it's culture and simply everything about it. After 15 years of living in KL nothing changed and we still have the same feelings... thanks to our decision to spend few days in Malaysia 17 years ago ๐Ÿ˜‰

The Petronas Twin Towers are still the tallest buildings in the world, emphasis on Twin and/or buildings as opposed to a single skyscraper/building.
  • More underrated attractions in KL (some of these are free to enter): -Rumah Penghulu Abu Seman -Istana Negara -Royal Museum -KL Craft Complex -Free Cultural Dance Show in Malaysia Tourism Center -Galeria Sri Perdana -P Ramlee Memorial -Tunku Abdul Rahman Putra Memorial -Tun Abdul Razak Memorial -Tun Hussein Onn Memorial -Memorial Negarawan -Bank Negara Museum -Royal Malaysia Police Museum -Telekom Museum -National Art Gallery -National Planetarium
  • Well, as a Malaysian, i can confirm that everyone is a family, that's why we have slogan that said "Keluarga Malaysia" (Malaysia Family). Even the number of people that can speak English are many, just at a different level wether it's Malaysian English or UK English.
  • It is better under rated city than over rated city because price will go up base on rate of viewers not base on demand and supply. Just give the higher rate to Bangkok, Singapore and Jakarta.

Thank you for promoting Malaysia! Am a Malaysian too! Our country includes Chinese, Bahasa Melayu, English and even more!! Malaysia is also quite a recommended country for your vacations, the plane your in will show many futuristic buildings you can dream about! The skycrapers are also really tall, might give you some acrophobia (The fear of heights) but it's still really cool! Highly recommended for your vacations!
