Plenty of ugly houses on the main street of Riga (Brīvības iela)

Further away from the Riga's city center houses are becoming uglier and uglier - even on such a main street as Brīvības iela. Really sad.

    But still also plenty of beautiful buildings. You will not find a city that only has beautiful buildings. And dilapidated structures can be seen in every part of the world, even in large, shiny and glamorous megacities. Riga is beautiful.
