For people wondering, the previous upload had some audio issues so Maven and his team fixed the issues before reuploading. Thanks Maven

Maven had that tracksuit in the closet and was just itching for a reason to bring it back out 😂😂

The greatest source of amusement for a modern wrestling fan are the people who go, "You know that's fake right?" and feel really proud of themselves for having come to such a world shaking conclusion.

Harley Race being the booker is such a Harley Race thing to do 🤣 May he rest in peace
  • I enjoyed this video immensely, but I'm most impressed with the fact Maven has a still working VHS player. Lol

I was trained by the Road Dogg in 2001 after he was released from the WWF. "Hold an invisible egg" was his instruction for throwing a punch.

"I am about to fill you in on a secret, you had no clue about... From 2001 through 2005, I was a WWE wrestler!"

"She's a stunt granny." Ah, the memes..... LOL!!!!
  • "Not that damn soft," About the turnbuckle pad made me chuckle, thank you.
  • @andresmartin67
This video is way better than watching the masked magician Maven has the best wrestling channel here

can confirm with an anecdote of 1 minor promotion, the 2 times I did a show with Lucha vavoom [luchadors and burlesque], their ring was as Maven described: 4 steel I-beams, around 12-18" tall, connected to the 4 ring posts, with smaller 4-6" steel or aluminum box joists every 1-2' to support the 2x6 planks that make up the floor. a layer of gym pads are then covered by a base canvas, then the top cover with branding and ads. The turnbuckle pads are more like boxing gloves with dense foam [same foam as the ring pad, closer to a pool float than a foam pillow]

I was wondering why the narrator sounded so familiar. He’s freaking Salem the cat AKA Nick Bakay!
  • @JasonL77
I remember when I saw this on NBC. I thought it was the most unintentionally hilarious thing I had ever seen. They weren’t trying to be funny, but I was laughing my ass off the whole time thinking “Do they really think we don’t know this shit already?”
  • @aybanpali
Thanks for fixing this in a timely manner Maven! That’s why you got 400k of us!
  • @NoonMountain
We need Maven as a commentator for at least NXT
  • I would honestly love to see you react to some old WWE promos, whether involving you or others like Eddie Guerrero, to get your reaction and talk about the process of cutting a good promo.
