The trial of a man accused of plotting to kidnap, rape and murder the TV presenter Holly Willoughby has heard how he bought bottles of chloroform and looked at an abandoned farm as a location to hold her.

Gavin Plumb, 37, from Harlow in Essex denies soliciting murder, incitement to rape and incitement to kidnap.
