For PC user, holding Left-CTRL to dive at the second checkpoint, then release Left-CTRL and use your mouse to glide up.

Thanks much. I realized I was pulling back too much on the stick. I also got the Riddler challenge for gliding 30 meters over water from beating this, so thanks for the tips.

Thanks bro for this video, really helped, whoever designed that side mission would want to learn some geometry. Bloody angles are so difficult

How would anyone figure this out without instruction? What worked for me was jumping from farther back on the platform so I could line up straight, and just a brief tap of the divebomb key about a half second after letting go of the divebomb key, which prevents the upward swoop.

Trick on pc is to ctrl, release & ctrl-release quickly to keep batman from going up

Hunh, spent forever on this one, trying to figure out how to do it with the upgraded grapnel, as it really makes it seem like you need that. Thanks for showing me I was banging my head on a wall for nothing.

THIS IS HOW YOU DO IT ON THE COMPUTER. When you pull up near the water you automatically do an arc to avoid falling in, what you have to do is dive until you hit the first marker, pull up and dive repeatedly (to avoid the pull up arc) until your level with the second one and glide safely through the tunnel. Still takes a few tries but it works.

Advice for all players (pc and console) : Look exactly at how guy in this video does it, the downward dive and the angle is crucial thing, the rest is just try, try, try. Advice for PC players : Try to shut off your need to look in front of you, think of the mouse as of the analog stick, and just tilt it a litlle, you won't see nothing for a while, but you will pull it of if you just tilt. Hope that helps, i finshed it in 30 minutes.

For anyone having trouble with this on xbox one problem I was having was I would pull up with the thumbstick before letting go of right trigger. It's much easier to control yourself if you let go of trigger first. Once I did that this got much easier. Hope this helps since this video didnt really help me at all because the guy just does it and doesn't explain it and all the other comments are about how this is impossible on PC.

i did it on 360 finally. the principles should be the same. So when you release your dive start to pitch your angle down then back up. I also released my dive at the top of the second marker. Hope that helps.

If you line it up right, you don't have to dive bomb.

I don't even move the mouse at all, he just automatically flies up at a 45 degree angle as soon as I let go of the CTRL key. If I try moving the mouse to compensate, he hits the water. I guess you need split-second, millimeter precision here? These really are ridiculously hard.

It worked for me when just a quick flick back on the joystick. Another way, don't pull back all the way, just partially. (PS3)

Playing this on Series X, such a pain to complete this. The way Batman can pick up so much lift is random at times.

If you're doing this on the 360, the moment you let go of the rt button and he attempts to fly upwards, tap the rt button and he'll fly straight but he'll slowly fly upwards again. For every time he flies upwards, tap the rt very quickly.
