Jesus walks on water...but walks with Simon

To be hugged by God would be the most wonderful feeling.

One of the MOST powerful scenes so far. When Simon grabs Jesus, saying Dont let me go. I fell apart. Our Lord never lets us go but we let go of him.

To me, this is what following Jesus feels like: You find yourself drowning in life's trials with no hope of getting out, and then, the Lord reaches into your life to pull you out. Pull you back into His arms.

"Don't let me go!" "I'm here, I'm always here."

I was born a muslim. But I decided to follow Jesus since I was 16 years old. Love you jesus. ✝

This scene always turns me into a crying mess. To see the Scriptures come alive in this way is so powerful!

"What manner of man is this, that even the winds and the sea obey him!"

Man, even as an atheist, Jesus' compassion moves me. I got chills watching this, what a brilliantly executed scene!

Instead of fixing his eyes on Jesus, Simon looked left and right, that is why he sank. When we fix our eyes on Jesus, He will never let us sink!!!!

Goosebumps. This scene is IMMENSELY POWERFUL. Thank you Lord for showing us that you are there with us in every storm to guide us to You.

How I wait for the day when I am held in Jesus arms. Lord I am undeserving.

Focus on Jesus the Christ and not the storms of life and you will never sink.😩

OMG, it took my tears out, when Jesus said "Why did you doubt?" Sometimes we also doubt God's plan but, and I really felt sorry for that now.

I'M ALWAYS HERE.” Undoubtedly a powerful one, this scene remains for me as my top 1 favorite scene throughout the entire series; it perfectly captures the awe of the miracle, the essence of faith, and the constant reassurance of the Lord. Certainly, this scene did help me go back to the comfort found in the Word of God, specifically those struggling circumstances I went through wherein Jesus saves me as He grabs me by His hand. Jesus will never let us go because He is always here, let's just keep our eyes on Him since He is our Rest. Indeed, God uses this series, The Chosen, to bring not only me but also everyone to the Truth of the Bible!

This is such an amazing scene, from the writing, to the vocals in the score. The actor does a good job of portraying Simon. I think Simon represents the everyday man. You feel his frustration when confronting Jesus, but then you also feel his regret when Jesus pulls him up. Every time I see this scene, it always brings me to tears.

I was known my self as a very hard man. Dont know how to cry but this scene. All of the scene gets me cry. Im in a storm right now. I can see my self as simon. And the Lords hug was made me cry

When Jesus reaches his hand out to help simon it gives me chills. Such a powerful scene.
