Calafiori is not just a modern day defender..Not just a ball playing defender but classic as well.. He's got defensive prowess
  • @jozeydirtz
How does no one at Talksport know that Calafiori started as a LB & has been a CB for 1 season? If Stuart done his research he’d know he’s been defending wide spaces the majority of his life…

I hope no one takes White & Jordan for granted again.
  • Poeple keep saying the Pep Effect, Arteta actually did this 1st. He played CBs across the backline before Pep
  • Best collection of Defenders since I last visited a Land Rover forecourt.
  • No one had heard of Calafiori before the Euros, now everyone's an expert

16 goals from full back , what a season!
  • @Rayado_26
Calafiore started playing LB. Motta made him CB last season
  • @conorgray6883
Same Stewart Pearce that predicted arsenal would drop out of the top 4 last season btw
  • @DovaGeris
I also liked to see how Spurs used their inverted fullbacks, especially when the goals flew into their net πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚πŸ˜‚
  • Calafiori - the FM legend since 2017 πŸ˜‚πŸ™πŸ½

Stuart pearce, explaining the potential strengths of someone he has never watched.

Trying to use Spurs and Ange as a point in case why not to defend a certain way is priceless. You need the tactical nous and players to be able to do it. Just because Spurs and Ange suck at it does not mean better teams do. The best defence plays the same tactics, just better players and better manager.
  • Weeee have an Italian in defence , wee have an italian in defence....we have an italian in defence no rival can say thatttt 🎡🎡
  • @RazeefRazeff
I think Stuart Pearce was the last old fashioned left back ..strong ,fast & big & rarely get injured.. then it was Ashley cole, shaw who are shorter but more skillful & injury prone but not as fast ,strong as Pearce & the word tough as nails as Samson in the 80s for England ,later on Stuart Pearce in the 90s ..
  • Ahh yeah thanks guys we’ve had the European football experts opinion on Calafiori now let’s have the opinion of Stuart Pearce that’s what we needed
