Mystique is about 120 years old she had 3 kids Night-crawler and Graydon Creed and by adoption a daughter named Rogue. The woman who raise Kurt was a ex lover of Azazel that why she raise him.

Thank you for this. Mystique is one of favorite comic book characters. She's one of the first mainstream characters to depict the existential horror that would inevitably follow someone with the ability to change forms at will. The scene in X-Men:TAS broke my heart as a kid. Nightcrawler was so desperate to find his mother and have her accept him, only to realize she hasn't even accepted herself and just pretends to be other people.

After being raised by Mystique, Rogue is very good at spotting shape shifters. She tackled a skrull through a window and broke his neck on the way down, freaked everyone out till the corpse changed back to an alien.

I really wish they did more with Kurt's siblings. There was a boy named Trevor Chase, a reality warper who was Destiny's grandchild. His mother and father where Justine and Cole Chase.

And this is why I hate Fox's Mystique. She could have been a formidable villain, complicated and unpredictable. Her character could have been more compelling than Magneto. I loved the way she manipulated and used villains more powerful than her in the 90's cartoons. But in the Fox-men, they made her cringe-worthy. Jennifer Lawrence's version anyway. Rebecca Romjin's was delicious.

Nightcrawler has blue FUR so fine it looks like skin from a distance, hence the nickname fuzzy elf that Kitty Pryde calls him.
