In the movie "Numb," a married couple, Will and Linda, find themselves on the brink of financial ruin. Their business has gone bankrupt, leaving them without any means of support. One day, they come across GPS coordinates that promise to lead them to hidden gold. Seeing this as their chance for salvation, Will and Linda decide to take the risk.
On their way, they meet a pair of mysterious hitchhikers, Lee and Cheryl, who know more about these coordinates than they initially admit. Together, the quartet ventures into the remote winter wilderness in search of the treasure. However, the deeper they go into the wild, the more they face the dangers of the cold, unforgiving environment and mutual distrust.
The situation becomes critical as conflicts arise among the travelers due to differing goals and hidden motives. The constant cold and tension make survival an increasingly difficult task. They not only confront the natural challenges but also the darker sides of each other. In the end, the characters must decide what is more important to them – the gold or survival, and who they can trinianpal456 truly trust.

Good movie, well acted. I Loved all the characters. With them NOT being properly equipped I saw the problems that were going to surface. I live in a freezing cold environment for most of the year. North in Canada above what is called the Snow Belt. I never go anywhere unprepared.

They should re-name this movie to "....People helping people...." And remember the "Golden Rule" when you pick up hitch-hikers, "....You can't trust anyone you don't know...." If they pull out a gun while you're driving, there's nothing you can do, except maybe crash the car. Still watching the movie. Regards, Denis Berte' USMC

I don’t get it. How do you go looking for something in the wilderness and not winter prepare at all? I mean 4 of them and not one question about safety? I don’t care where the gold is but I’m not dying for any money. So dumb!

Frostbite sucks.I had it on my fingertips for 3 months.It wasn't black but I never thought it was going away.On both hands.Fotunately it did.Don't mess with it.

I've been there dumb cold by the cold weather! Living in NW Washington State Olympic National Forest, I got 10" snow in just enough time to watch a movie! I was in such a white out I had to put my coat over my head to see my hand an compass reading to find home

I already commented but I feel like I need to add to what I said. I grew up in Florida and lived there most of my life. Never had to think about hypothermia or frostbite. This movie really highlighted the danger of exposure. Very well done. It also made me think about greed as well.

They should rename this " The half baked plans of maroons" With the GPS coordinates they had all the advantages the cops never had. All they had to do is properly winterize and find the coordinates on a map before heading out. And bring a sled along to carry the gold.

My friend lost his toes to frostbite; they turned black, fell off, and then the odd thing happened, they grew back! It is rarely happens in adults but has been known to happen with children.

The movie’s title should have been Dumb instead of Numb. Just one letter but more accurate description. Still, the great movie, great filming and mesmerizing landscapes.
