Learn to ask and answer Spanish questions using the present tense of “haber” and the past participle of any Spanish verb. The formula, “haber + participio” will help you to ask questions regarding something a person has or has not done in the past. For instance, the grammatical Spanish structure I am going to teach in this video comes in handy when you want to ask if someone has visited, gone to, or been in a place. You might think this is easy and that you already know it. But not so fast! Many people make a mistake when they are asking for this information in Spanish. For example, instead of saying “Sí, sí he ido a México" - "Yes I have been in Mexico", they say “Estoy en México", or "Voy en México" or "Sí fui a México". So, instead of using a very simple grammatical structure that would convey the fact that yes, I have been been in México some time or many times in the past, some Spanish learners mix other incorrect tenses. So, with this lesson you will be able to review a way to ask and answer questions in Spanish in a correct and simple more idiomatic way.

But before you watch, you need to encourage yourself and need the magic words.
Say:
I will learn Spanish, voy a aprender español.
I will learn Spanish, voy a aprender español.
I will learn Spanish with Ana, voy a aprender español con Ana.
I will learn Spanish with Ana, voy a aprender español con Ana.
Ana will hold my hand and take me to México and teach me to speak to people, and not be afraid of speaking the language of love, Spanish. Not French! French whatever… just to show off.

Thank you for offering such great Spanish lessons, and for making learning fun and interesting. Sometimes when I start to lose focus you do something spontaneously funny, and it snaps me out of my fog. Here, for example, 23:04 , "precision . . . fui". Lol.

I love your videos. You have such an exciting way of teaching Ana❤

I love that you give your students (us!) the *formula*. While it is often in books, there are never decent examples of how it is used. A formula is only worthwhile if you know when and how to use it. Ergo, muchas gracias, Ana!

Muchas gracias Ana! Me encantan tus videos. They’re always so helpful..I would really like it if you could make a video about when we need to use the article after the word “de”. For example, when we can say “un billete de metro” and when “un billete del metro”… Can't wait for your next videos...❣
