    Matt telling you the absolute truth and if you will listen and practice what he is saying you will overcome it l used to have this disorder and completely over came it as well please go get his book
  • I think you have to becareful of the perfectionism trap with stopping the wheel… sometimes you get too caught up in trying to stop the wheel perfectly

  • Thank you brother! You are an answer to prayer. I have been struggling with loops and that’s exactly how I describe it to people there are certain wheels my mind uses over and over and over. Taking our focus off of the contents of the wheel is the first step and working to get rid of the loop/wheel is the goal. I am.

    You are amazing. I know the theory, I understand what I should do.. but as soon as I try and decide to move that way, the same thought appears “what if your anxiety is true this time, and you didn’t test yourself? Maybe there is that small chance it is true now, so you are risking your health?”. Logically I know it’s almost 100% false as I was tested one week ago.. that’s my problem, how to deal with it? Great shows, great work.

    So I’m currently on the recovery end of my first ever intrusive thought 5 months of pure torture btw but I’m kinda stuck on acceptance? I understand not to try and make it go away but just be there and honestly bring more of it. But my problem is my job is good but honestly boring. And I’m trying to let my feelings be there but that’s all I can really focus on since my job requires standing around watching a machine. How do I combat this?
