If Oda is going to pull "D. eez nut" jokes at the end, i probably will laugh like roger did
  • @Da_Thaxu
Imagine One Piece being the worlds longest and immaculate Deez Nutz joke...

There are 8 D. families and the sun symbol is always depicted with 8 rays or dots. The sun symbol could be the symbol of an organization or project. So the D stands probably for the name of the project that these families all worked on. Dawn seems the most logical but overtime each D family could have adopted it's own meaning for the letter. I think that there are 4 D families for each Blue, 1 for the Red line and 3 for what we now know as the ancient weapons. The Jaguar family as giants are most likely connected to Pluton since Saul himself looks quite a bit like a more human Oars.
  • D = drain. Trafalgar Drains Water. The Drain clan will literaly drain the world since imu wants to flood it😂

Remember that episode from the Simpsons where Homer was searching for what the J. in his name stands for only to fin out it stood for jay? It would be so hilarious the D stands for Dee haha. Anyway...

by this point, with all the misdirections, and Oda putting stuff right in our faces, I wouldn't be surprised if Joy Boys real name turned out to be Voi D. Century, lol.

My theory blackbeard got quake quake power by eating whitebeard's organ and there is no difference in his body as his stomach was already busted open and big mom also got her power by eating caramel
  • My main theory is based on what Imu said "our enemies used the letter D. to represent themselves" It might just be the name of the organization that opposed the "Gods" The D was then passed on through making their children's Middle Initial D to protect them and as a warning that these individuals are not to be messed with.

Joy D. Boy….. IMU stands for “I Miss U”…. No wonder Imu keeps that big straw hat because he or she misses Joy D. Boy

i feel like the meaning of D. is "those who dream" but the difference is that it actually affects the entirety of the world, like how roger became the flagbearer of his era and brought upon the golden era of piracy, how garp stood tall on his own justice and principles that many marines now follow and how dragon is able to raise the flag of resistance and is currently resisting the oppression of those who seat on the thrones . The people with the initials of D is fated to have a dream that will impact the entirety of the world or i would say the natural flow of history, which is such a massive problem for someone who controls the world government cause it signifies that D. will never fade away and will always contradict the natural flow with unnaturality for all of eternity, which is probably why Imu is purging the world via flooding everything in the hopes of killing all those who bare the will of D. another part of this thought process is how people can impact the world through desires, where they are able to manifest realities through devil fruits (stated by vegapunk's theory but still unconfirmed) so with this logic we can hypothesize that the people of D. has a much more intense desire that actually manifests into reality no matter the shape or form, its like when they dream it the world bends to their wills to make it happen. SO IF THIS IS TRUE NO MATTER HOW SMALL THAT WOULD EXPLAIN ALOT OF THE DUMB PLOT ARMOR THAT LUFFY HAS 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣 if this is how oda will justify luffy's stupid plot armor i would laugh my as.s off 😆😆

EMOJI 😄 is the way Oda will surprise:;) Good job, ohara

Guys I think I have a better theory hear me out. The D stands for Drugs and here's why: -Luffy G5 is high on weed that's why he keeps laughing the whole time. Same goes to roger becoming the plug to his crew after reaching laughtale. And yes, one piece is some form of drug that's why they all bursted in laughter when they found it. It also makes sense that roger becoming the king of the pirates who has everthing to have a son who has a fire logia which enables roger to have the most handy lighter ever but unable to experience it. Meanwhile, Dragon keeps blazin that's why he got a scar from burning too much woods and finally, Garp also being so high on weed that he always have munchies on his hand. -Rocks is obviously high on Meth which can be the direct reference of the name "rocks" -Blackbeard is probably high on ecstacy which explains high mulitpersonality and being unable to sleep. -Vivi is probably high on coke because she lives in a dessert wherein water is scarce that's why she relies on other bevs like coke which she later on found out that there's another coke to die for. -Saul and Law are probbaly high on Nootropics because they don't want to be left behind considering they alawyas of hang out with smart people and both having the urge to uncover the history, makes them the only legal drug abusers in the D clan. -Rouge if irrelevant so don't mind her he probably just abused some sort of drug that prolongs her delivery.

i think Roger had the will of Joyboy but lacked his fruit to awaken the true potential of his will. Luffy completes the cycle having both the will of D from joyboy and his fruit. Roger may have found out he needed the fruit but didnt have time so he told shanks to find it and give it to his son who Roger thought would carry on his will becoming joyboy
  • @knodeway1826
Black beard is the most interesting member to me. He has the darkness logia Likely the darkness paramecia via gecko’s shadow fruit And probably some kind of unknown darkness zoan coming up

@Ohara I believe the answer to the mystery of the "D" lies within the Baratie arc, particularly during the confrontation with DON Krieg. This moment introduces a theme of false identities, starting with encountering a counterfeit Don and later expanding to include fake kings and gods. The term "Don," rooted in Spanish, connotes "Lord" and carries historical weight across Spain, Hispanic America, Italy, Portugal, and their former colonies, including the Philippines. Originally reserved for royalty, nobility, and religious leaders, its contemporary usage extends to individuals esteemed for personal, social, or official distinction, like respected community leaders or individuals of notable wealth or lineage. Supporting this theory is the linguistic usage of "Don" in direct address, which, unlike "Mister," requires pairing with a given name. The name of Donquixote Doflamingo further reinforces this interpretation, along with the recurring sound effect marking the end of each episode.
