I hope the entities have as much realism as the environment. Nothing kills the immersion in these games more than when enemy entities just have that rubber, overly shiny, cartoonish look to them when the engine is rendering the environment almost like real life.

This trailer shows so much potential. Definetly hope it runs well, I can't wait to play it in full!

I know this might sound really silly, but I hope there might be a "peaceful" game mode so I can just wander around these stunning areas and move at my own pace in VR. I would love to enjoy the surreal aspect of the backrooms, without my psychosis getting triggered by something chasing me! 😢
  • @kromordial
I cannot express how excited I am for this to release
  • @chunkychan8989
Its still crazy to me just how realistic games like these are starting to look and it most certainly makes me excited to see what the future may hold for the gaming scene

This looks really cool! The only thing is, I would love if there were a jumpscare free setting - I love these liminal space type games, but it's rare to find ones that focus entirely on the atmosphere without having jumpscares. I would love a liminal spaces game where you wander environments like this with a sense of unease and otherworldly-ness combined with nostalgia, but without something popping out at you or worrying about dying from a monster.

It's so freaky when he turns on the light switch, the chairs duplicate.

Not gonna lie, when I read "in-game footage" in that first room, I almost didn't believe it. The graphics look so real and the room is just the right kind of messy that it doesn't feel artificial at all. I'm genuinely so impressed with this and really want to play it now.

Please don’t rush this game out, make it the best, most thrilling and mind bending experience possible and the good reviews will get you the sales you deserve, if it’s VR too then a bonus! But if it has this fidelity and immersion and back rooms feel to it, it’ll do very well!
  • @Caylus
    NO WAYYYY. I cannot wait
  • Can we all just take a moment to appreciate the sound design and music in this? It's honestly sublime...
  • @sebbyyz6833
Its actually crazy how realistic the first clip in the house looks, feels like it could have been a recording in real life!
  • @Fatherlake
I strongly believe we should just let liminal spaces be liminal spaces and not need monsters to keep it scary but this is so visually stunning I might play it anyways
  • @Flippo___
monsters destroy liminality. there, I said it. The real horror of liminality is not knowing if you're really alone. knowing there's another entity is a completely different side of horror, destroying the idea of liminality
  • @miikatenkula6356
Devs, the game looks fantastic. Just a reminder, please add an analog camera filter for the enthusiasts so we can get even more scared.
  • @IkerUnzu
This looks crazy good. Can’t wait to play it
  • @Brains_One
It’s crazy how much games have changed over the years. Never would’ve thought to see a game this realistic.
  • @justinshubin3026
I was in my junior year of highschool when this concept came out now I’m abt to have a full time job and it still has no sign of release
  • @JustTipy
I watched it a few times, i still cant believe how good it looks. It legitimately looks like camera footage. Insane where games are headed.
