the Netflix OPLA (One Piece Live Action) is officially out! but is it good?
the OPLA covers the east blue saga (romance dawn, shell town, syrup village, baratie & arlong park) many characters appear garp, koby, helmeppo, mihawk BOGARD!? and manuy more with lots of twist and turns to the characters we normally know. we follow the straw hats (luffy, nami, zoro, usopp, sanji) and discover what it means to follow your dreams and fight for your friends.

I'm in a weird spot with the show, I watched it and loved it, I assumed everyone would love it, then I went online to find all this debate about it. It's not erfect, there are things you can criticise, for sure, but as a whole it was a great experience that made me cry a few times.

I was so happy to see such a great series with an intimidatingly long manga and bad paced anime to get a well deserved great live action. Watched it twice already, it's so good, sure it has many issues too but overall they managed to capture a lot of what makes the one piece world great. I really hope we get a season 2 and Loguetown arc in it
