In early 2020, Nick & Naomi Magiera sold their log cabin on beautiful land with the calling to move to Madagascar to serve as Christian Missionaries. Due to travel restrictions at the time they sold their house, they decided to buy a van and make the best of the situation and see America's beauty! Join them on their adventures as they travel around America, New Zealand, and eventually end up in... Madagascar!

"Go and Love" is a simple phrase that Nick and Naomi apply to their life. It comes from the combination of the Bible verses Matthew 28:19 where Jesus says, "Go and make disciples of all nations..." and in John 15:17 where Jesus says, "This is my command: Love each other".

Join the Magiera family as they go and love!

Looks like a great spot! Don't worry, this is just a step towards something even better in the future. Keep on going with the search and keep on chasing your dreams!

Bro, that’s amazing! Praying your family is safe and finds the right location!!!
  • @GoandLove
What do you think... Should we keep looking at boat-only-access properties or find something more accessable?
  • We missed you! I was so worried. I’m sorry you got Covid. 😭 we have had it at least once, we suspect twice, but weren’t tested the second time. Just hunkered down. I’m so sorry you lost the place and so impressed with how much grace you handled it with. We saw a house on an island in Montana and Chris mentioned how cool it was and I told him how you were looking for something like that in NZ. It’s freezing in Montana if it makes you feel better - we woke up to 27 degree weather 😳. We were going to Yellowstone today but it is all closed due to flooding. 😭 Wow! That was absolutely gorgeous- I’m so sorry it didn’t work out. I know that there are big things in store for you though! Sending love and prayers! 💕

I’m sorry to hear about that!!! Yeah New Zealand property is just out of control… we were comparing prices and for a House equivalent to our here is Southern California it would we $150K more in the Bay of Plenty!! The place looked amazing. I’ve seen you guys how are you remodeled your house in America so I know you guys would do an awesome job here.

I always believe that whenever God closes one door he would open another. And He would always give the best. Praying he will give the desires of your heart. Take care always.

I'm sorry the financing fell through on the house you wanted, and I'll be praying for the home He wants you in. If the financing fell through because it was boat access, you may be facing the same failure on other boat access properties, but I'm sure you already realize that. I am so thankful that your whole family survived covid handily. May our Lord bless you all.

Bugger. It looks like a lovely spot.It may be a blessing in disguise though bro. Prices are dropping. How's that boat going?
  • The housing market is just about to crash in Australia, so I don't think New Zealand will be far behind. This boom has been shocking. I hope the perfect property comes up soon.

Beautiful spot. Why is NZ so expensive? I think that is a crime. JA is running it down. Your kids would never have any extracurricular activities. You would probably homeschool. What would your church do without you? Sometimes a fallthrough is a blessing in disguise. I created a vision board with my son when he was eight, he wanted to go to NZ. He fell in love with a Kiwi now married and 2 boys which I haven't met. You have to have a million $ to retire in NZ. You are in my prayers.
