Your rock borders always look perfect. How do you do that?

Your garden looks amazing. I was worried about mine. Thank goodness we finally got some rain. Yours looks so full and lush. I didnโt know you were supposed to prune roses more than once a year. I guess with such a long growing season here in Georgia it makes sense. Do you cut yours back by a third or more? I only have three but I want them to be bushier.
