The Jake Origin Story: I grew up with glasses, 5.00 diopter high myopia, and yet today have 20/20 natural eyesight. No surgery, no glasses, I figured out how myopia actually works and how to reverse it (and no, not eye exercises!) The mainstream tells you it's impossible - but the whole concept that myopia is an illness, is complete unscientific nonsense (a 100 billion dollar a year profitable nonsense, though).

And optometrist always test your eyes in the pitch black and over-prescribe you for normal lighting! After that over-prescription your power goes up and you'll need NEW glasses again. No wonder it's a multi million dollar business. Make your own customer base and then sell them overpriced frames.

Great conversation! I too find that eating too much sugar really screws up my vision. Low light is frustrating, but it's all part of the deal. Keep the interviews coming and let's all get back to 20/20 together!

Indoor lighting is very bad for trying to improve vision, when looking at night at my tv I get very depressed by the amount of blur and double vision. In daylight I get the real improvements.

Thanks Aaron for sharing this & @jakesteiner for facilitating these great podcast episodes. They're so helpful and inspiring. I got real value from this. I started at -2.0 SPH -0.75 CYL. I'm now at -0.5 SPH -0.75 CYL. It's really helped to hear someone else describe the experience of double vision due to astigmatism. I have the same albeit starting out at a much lower level. It's tricky to figure out in the beginning but I think I'm starting to reduce the astigmatism now.
  • As someone with ADD, the way he can't find the right words and not speaking fluently seems familiar. But he did a great job explaining!
  • I appreciated this discussion! I have high astigmatism. It convenience me to get a lenses test kit, which I've been contemplating.

Astigmatism (equals 2 focal points normally) shows up more the darker the scene. That's what I found out. Outside in the sunshine glasses or lenses without astigmatism correction can even look perfect depending on prescription. Why? My theory that I didn't read anywhere is that your iris is at its smallest in that scenario and so the other curve of the cornea does not interfere. The bigger the iris the more light through the other curve and the more that other focus point start messing things up. Makes sense? Btw easy to see if you have it with a radial figure. Move it away from your eyes, if all lines remain similar sharp/black/thick, you do not have it. If you see at point A one line sharp, and at another point B another line shape, normally 90 degrees from the first one you (still?) have it.

his hesitation is proving this video 100% non scripted and are real😂

Thank you for this testimony! As another carnivore and endmyopia follower I have noticed the diet especially adding some raw liver has helped me progress so much. I did keto for years, tried vegan for a year, but nothing works like carnivore and for more than vision improvement!

I also experience the double vision in my right eye. It was given all the astigmatism values from -0.5 to -1.75 in past. Last one before EM was cyl -0.5, which I was wearing in both eyes. With starting EM I got it measured at home by lens kit and found that it was only in RE. So I dropped it altogether as it's anywhere doesn't interfere in my binocular vision. Now, it's about one year, still I have astigmatism in RE i. e DV, but it's like letters of snellen surrounded by blurry artifacts. But I can read the letters as they are black and bold. I guess that's an improvement in astigmatism too along with myopia.

Thanks to the both of you for sharing, and providing so many insights. Aaron, I'm curious to know a little about your everyday tasks and lifestyle. I agree with and understand the concept of not relying on a pair of eyeglasses to assist your move, and if using them it being nice to slowly ween ones self into the independence of learning to improve and adapt without them. Are there any tasks that you find that would require the efficiency of eyeglasses. You mention for watching tv, games, and work presentations you prefer that help. But are there any tasks, such as reading or those related to working on a laptop for periods at a time. Or even in the beginning of the process and noticing how more quickly and effectively you can get stuff done with a quality and efficient level of eyesight? I think you said you had been wearing glasses for awhile before beginning your process. During these stages, how did you train your eyes to handle and do well with the balance of tasks and adjusting your natural eyesight to the capabilities you had by wearing your prescription? As a beginner wearer I notice how the tasks you wouldn't expect or think to be a big deal, like housecleaning and different activities, actually benefit too from the efficiencies of completing things and...... I see you're nearsighted. So do you have perfect or good vision seeing up close as well?
  • This is interesting as I am also an Aaron who is also reversing a case of high astigmatism.
  • Wondering if anyone can suggest a particular lense test kit. Large price differences.
  • @AnthonyCandaele
Hi Jake. Thanks for this video. I don't have high astigmatism, -0.75 cylinder in my left eye and -0.50 cylinder in my right eye. But I would like to reduce the astigmatism with 0.25 diopters if that is possible.
  • @sultanahotb7382
Can’t understand what did he do to reduce the astigmatism?????
  • @lettu
interesting talk, another carnivore and end myopian here. i've been wondering if diet would impact vision at all, but can't say one way or another. especially because I started this way of eating before finding end myopia.
