Jose always does such a great job serving the song with his playing. He can flex and be funky but it always lines up with what's going on around him. He's seriously inspired my playing over the years and how to make the drums blend into the band instead of just thrashing.

Jose's keeping himself sharp by practicing daily so that he doesn't have to get ready. He'll already be ready. Keeping his craft strong.

When I dealt at the Hard Rock Hotel and Casino. I dealt to him a few times (21 table) a very nice gentleman. I asked him what he did for a living making small talk. He told me he was a musician from the LA area played drums. So I asked what the name of his band was. He told me Incubus I was laughing inside. Cuz I love their music. So keep up the good work. Lol

Groove, technique, ideas, mixed music genres. One of my biggest influence in drumming and obviously one of my favourite drummers

  • @poyax.
I love musical drumming, so in the pocket.
  • I remember watching this dude kill it in the 90s at the clubs before make yourself. He's still killing it today. 23 years later.
  • Just sounds so impressive as home performance. Pure California roots! The whole spirit of there personified into this album. It's like breathing fresh air, swimming in the ocean.
