Humphrey - what a guy! Every interview about the show is like groundhog day for him, but he never looks pissed off or irritated about having to explain the story over & over & over again. He just rolls it out every time, almost word for word. Yes it's in his job as the frontman of the club I know, but it would do my nut in personally . I wish there was 'Skip Intro' button ala Netflix etc, to jump to the interviewers actual questions....is the story of what's going on at the club even needed anymore? Unless you've been living under a rock for the last 3yrs I guess... 🤷‍♂

I've said it before and I'll say it again.... I love listening to Humphrey Ker and thank him for everything he has done / is doing for my football club and Hometown.
  • If the Wrexham AFC endeavor were a movie, Humphrey would be it's Narrator. He is the viewers lens into the story.

Fantastic interview, so Humphrey Ker’s dad is Irish? No wonder I liked him 😆
  • I couldn't have said it better myself! Indeed HUMPHREY is "Joy(ful) in a world gone mad!" Great interview! I didn't know of Humphrey's naval historical novel nerd-ship and it just makes him even more interesting and endearing. He is such a wonderful, valued, eloquent and instrumental part of this ongoing fabulous story!

I read Master and Commander as a young man and will not remember it by now, time to reread it thank you for that. 'Up The Town!'

Master and commander! Such a masterpiece thank you HK.
  • Love that closing off line, so true, so joyful in a world gone mad. ❤ I am of Scottish decent, however born and bred in Southern Africa. This series has been so comforting and always blows my mind, the incredible diversity, accents, language, cultures and traditions in the U.K.!! Navigating all the accents in the series has been hysterical. My in laws are N Irish , and I couldn’t understand a word when I first met them. They came to SA in their early twenties and still so strong. Have a beautiful day everyone 🧚🌿🕊️🪽

Best ambassador / executive any club could ask for! What a legend. Build the 11 foot tall statue.

Nice to have an interviewer who is up to speed on the show. Plus, book recs! Love HK.
  • Sir Ker has a certain ring to it, love this guy for what he has done for my home town and the community of Wrexham.

This story is massively impacting the football league. I heard somewhere that a pub was having 100 american visitors a day at times.
