I'm never going to stop saying this; it is wrong and illegal to parade a suspect to the press and even more absurd to have them interrogated by the media. This girl hasn't even been charged to court. This is nonsense, we must do better. After all, what is the point of our court system?

Wasted life. Way-ward life. The end is pain, regret, and shame. The wages of sin is death. God show mercy to both the living and the dead
  • It is only in Nigeria that a murder suspect will be brought before the media to narrate her story, and be questioned by journalist. Nigeria appears to be a country without ethics and rules where everything goes. They do this all time, and there are numerous of such media drama. That is Nigeria for you. They never seem to do anything right, but to them, they are doing everything right. Hmmm!!!

Where is the police? since when journalist interview a murder suspect? I thought Nigeria was better than this...
  • I just feel it's unprofessional on the part of the Police to allow journalists to interview alledged suspects almost in an "interrogation style", especially immediately they discover a crime scene. A thorough investigation should still be on answering further questions to give the case a proper image, before this.

I am confused with why this young woman is being interviewed this way. It is against any understanding I have as a Barrister and solicitor both in Nigeria and England. What happened to innocent till proven guilty? What is happening here?

After the first time he had his way with you, you didn't leave and go back home. You still stayed back more days, eating, drinking, smoking, on the couch, having fun, watching, movie. He brought you there for a purpose, and you were a willing party coming there. why resist? People need to be careful with their lives. There is no duplicate.

When will the government stop this public interrogation. It just does not make sense journalist acting like lawyers. I really don’t understand this process
  • "I went to get food 🍲 for all of us." She was very correct! I went to get food for all of us is not an error.
  • @buchi0345
“ALL OF US” gave you out. She has accomplices.
  • @Victor-lh8sr
She said all of us. I dont think she did this alone

A big case like this, and u all investigate it in such environment?? Ur supposed to bring her in a quiet place where few people will stay with her and calmly ask her questions
  • @sayotoye2917
Why would she be allowed to talk to the press without her attorney? This act by the police is prejudicial to the case.
  • @srmutoka
Is it a normal thing for journalists in nigeria to question suspects?...why is that?. Somebody please advise, I'm really curious.
