I tried to watch Kingdom Hearts story explained videos across YouTube to understand everything before... I leave every video more confused than I started.

I got kingdom hearts 2 for Christmas. I’m pretty sure my parents bought me the game because they saw Mickey and the other Disney characters on the cover. 8 year old me had the time of his life.

I love kingdom hearts, it’s fun I won’t deny that. But I’m not sure what it is about KH3 or if I’m just noticing certain things that I didn’t before. But I miss that dark tone that 358/2 had, it’s something else I just can’t seem to put my finger on it. I think it was just too much Disney and not enough SE. as well as the key blade variety, miss my baby Oblivion.

For everyone who's having issues with lore, there's a "Memory Archive" on the main menu that does a really good job of explaining everything up until this point. 5 very well made videos.

It was worth the wait, but once I beat the story, it really fell flat due to the fact that it set up a new arc for a future game. It's a cool thought for the story to continue- even though it'll take 10 more years- but for all this wait time, you start to think what the real purpose of the game was for. And this is coming from a die hard fan

The game gameplay is great, but the dialogue is sooooo corny and feels awkward. Other than that it’s been really fun. I will say i think 7 year old me would’ve enjoyed this game more than 24 old me does. And that’s fine.

I thought I wanted this but now I'm not so sure.. it's like watching a loved one travel across the world for many years and you faithfully wait. But when they return you realize how little you care. So many broken promises and years of patiently waiting, a few love letters here and there but ultimately it feels empty. The fire faded and you've moved on to other things.
