In this video I make a CNC coolant filter out of 200 micro stainless steel mesh. I model it after the Haas coolant filter. The 200 micron filter supposedly filters out cast iron chips from the coolant. I haven't machined any cast yet. So far it works great! It done a good job of filtering all chips from entering the tank. Please let me know if you have any questions.
