Blendclub is such a blessing to newbies like myself. My first visit to a tobacconist was overwhelming. All the tins and bulk tobaccos. I had no idea what I wanted. I had watched a bunch of your videos and picked a few from that, a few recommendations from the chap at the store, and few others with cool art. I think I have tried 8/11 I purchased. Only one I’m really not feeling. I appreciate all the effort you put into your videos and chill way you present. It’s like chatting with a friend.

What a perfect backdrop on this cold and windy day. It’s so comforting right off the bat.

Big smiles over here! Peace and joy from Canada! Thanks for a break from the news!

🍂🍂 I love Missouri Meerschaum cob pipes- the new styles they introduced recently are innovative and the addition of specialty tobaccos to their product line is also very good. Never having tried this particular product, I was disappointed to see 1.5 oz loosely packed in a 3.0 tin. Good tin note of bourbon and coffee, moisture ok but boy this blend was country- so country the mixture was like crushed leaves and stems as if the tobacco were hand shredded into the tins. Very dry hot burning and fast cloudy smoke- lots of nutty burley masked over with the coffee flavorings…I just couldn’t get into this one. Why it reminded me of Sutliff mixture no. 79, bluegrass music, and bib overalls- I don’t know, but those are the impressions I kept coming back to while smoking this one.

Hey y'all, totally unrelated to this blend but hoping someone can help me out. The situation: I have 3 different aromatic tins. They all smell great but once I light any of them, there's 0 flavour...all I can taste is smoke and ash. Things I've tried: - different percentages of wetness/dryness - deep cleaning my briar pipes - even getting a new meerschaum pipe - taking a smoking break (actually was forced to get a few months off due to a surgery) - running the pipe cooler / hotter Like I said, all 3 blends have a great and rich smell whilst unlit and taste like "nothing" once I light them up. Also, all 3 are blends which I used in the past and they used to taste just as good as they smelled when unlit. It seems higly unlikely that I got a "bad batch" of all 3 so either something happened with my technique, my pipes or my tongue. That being said, I can taste food and flavours just fine and I also get the right flavour from my cigards. Thanks for any tips you can throw at me!

Great show! Awesome backdrop I can smell the room note from here. ❤ 🇬🇧 🇺🇸

👍👍👍 I liked the coffee and bourbon taste. This rates high for an aromatic for me. I would have rated it higher if it was a bit darker in flavor. A bit more of a dessert blend for my personal tastes.

This is an excellent gem of a tobacco that a lot of folks don't know about. I really enjoy. Disclaimer: I am primarily an aromatic or straight Virginia kind of guy. My one knock is I am not a huge fan of the taste of bourbon. If they made this with an Irish or Scotch whiskey, I would easily give it 5 stars. As such, I agree...:_pipe::_pipe::_pipe::_pipe:

This was my Second smoke. The first was a blend from a local shop. The fresh smoke you got the bourbon and coffee flavor, I've cellared it for a A MONTH and it became more smooth. I've now got one jar that I've cellared for over a year I'm going to try soon. All in all I'd give it 🌬🌬🌬🌬 (Edit: I have smoked it a bit to fast fresh from the tin, and I can say if you smoke fast you're going to get some liquid build up.)
  • Thank you again for another wonderful review! Have you considered doing extra reviews between monthly blend club? I know time is precious and videos take both work and time, but we need more! :)

I was a bit late to the party but managed to finely procure a tin of this blend. I enjoyed it immensely and am glad I took the time to give this a shot. Hope to pick up an extra tin or two to put in the closet for a rainy day.

That blend looks wonderful. I hope I get a chance to try it. Appears to tick all my boxes. Living in Australia it's difficult to obtain those blends. As always what a great review Mr Mutton chop. Thank you

😃😃😃😃Quiet nights was my 3rd tobacco I ever tried and at the time I didn’t like it much, too much Latakia. 6 months later I revisited it and WOW! So silky smooth, very pleasant and maybe not enough Latakia. I know your taste changes over time this is like a completely different one
