What do you mean she's too busy to take care of the cat!? SHE GOT A CAT SITTER! SHE TOOK RESPONSIBILITY OF THE CAT!
  • @duckie3961
"I got rid of her only flaw" oh my fucking god. my jaw DROPPED.
  • The cat story made me FURIOUS. They were reading into the cousin as if she were an adult, but in reality you KNOW that this is just a spoiled kid who’s used to getting what she wants. Glad OP got their cat back, and I hope that this 15 year old experiences some consequences for her actions.

My husband is autistic and didn't realize someone was flirting with him, and afterward, I literally made a point to tell him that she was flirting so that he would get the well-deserved ego boost.
  • @raenter
The guy with the dolls threw away her mother's and grandmother's dolls as well. He tossed out family heirlooms ON TOP of tossing out her personal stuff.

The doll story PSSED ME OFF. The guy is simply a loser. He moved in to HER apartment, made her get rid of HER stuff, then threw out HER belongings? What an absolute loser. I hope he's forever alone.
  • The one with the kink, I'm in full agreement with Damien. There was a story on here with a man not being invited to his wife's sister's wedding because he would pee himself for a kink. A kink is fine, but don't involve other people who don't know, it's so demeaning for them, especially when they do find out.

the back and forth on the cat story on "but what if she's a bad owner" is driving me crazy. If you were a neglectful cat owner you would just leave the cat alone at home while at school and work because "it's just a cat" and "they're independent". You wouldn't have someone come over to catsit in the first place. The cousin is just unbelievably entitled.
  • In the Midge story, I feel like OP shows she is a good cat owner simply by the fact that she requested help with Midge when she recognized that she was working a lot. She looked to family members who she thought she could trust; that is extremely responsible and thoughtful. I'm glad it all worked out.
  • Guess the boyfriend in the cucumber story thought her obsession was a real DILL breaker.

I really appreciated Damien's insights about the pregnancy fetish icky feeling. I had a similar reaponse, but I've tried to really work on "not yucking anyones yum." When he took issue with making bystandards unwitting participants in your kink (im paraphrasing, if its wrong, correct me) that helped me to articulate a feeling Ive been having for a while. Its like my brainspace fits togerher that much better.

God, the amount of respect Damien has for EVERYONE all the time, no matter the situation, is truly inspiring. What a lovely king
  • @BasicGeometry
Everyone wants a goth gf until the scary dolls show up. WEAK.
  • @flowerboi_j5035
The cat story had me fuming. I felt it when Damien said "They're lucky she used the keys, I'd bust in through the wall like the Kool aid man" 😂
  • @soup5634
The "he should have read her body language" immediately pissed me off. I'm autistic. If my partner got mad at me for not realizing someone was flirting with me because I can't read body language or social cues, they would get dumped immediately.
  • @karma3533
this video (despite the shite situations in it lol) genuinely made me so happy because Shayne, the man who almost fought a mime in a room full of dolls because they made him so uncomfortable, is defending a stranger on the internet who got her dolls thrown away. for some reason this is reminding me that the people on the internet can actually be pretty cool humans.
  • Damien & Shayne’s silence while letting Amanda feel all the rage on behalf of all the women is really, REALLY appreciated.
  • Shayne saying "You can throw away the dolls, but you can't throw away that part of her personality" hit so hard. What an incredible piece of insight.
  • ok but the nurse flirting with the husband while the wife is giving birth in the next room is CRAZY tho lmao wow

In the last story, when Damien mentioned the people with leashes at conventions it brought up a memory in me I had completely forgotten about and now I feel ill. In 2019, when I was 15, I went to Baltimore Comic Con with my dad. It was my first time going to a convention in cosplay (i was ramona flowers) and I was super pumped. At some point a guy came up to me and asked for a picture (actually he kinda just motioned at me and the woman he was with told me he wanted a picture). I was super psyched because I had worked hard on my cosplay and I had yet to be recognized by anyone. We took a normal side by side picture and then he took my hands and brought them to his neck. Once again, he didn't say anything just silently motioning for me to do things. We took the picture with me choking him, the woman thanked me, and they went on their way. I was super uncomfortable but I brushed it off and when on with the day. I completely forgot this happened until just now watching this video. Thinking back on it I'm lowkey horrified that a full grown man had me (15 at the time) choke him for a picture. I really didn't even have a chance to say no or anything because we were already taking the picture before I had really processed it. I remember looking through instagram later to see pictures from con and I found some other pictures of his where he was having other cosplayers choking him for photos so I guess that was his thing but it just leaves a really bad taste in my mouth.
