Rest In Peace To all of the victims of racial hatred. This is a special tribute to all of our predecessors who fought endlessly for our freedom. These are just a few of the black kings that put their lives on the line for our future and well being as African descendants in America. I can not thank them enough and this song released a lot of the turmoil and pain that I harbored over the years as a man who is mixed in America, struggling to find my true identity. I faced rejection and hatred from all. I suffered first hand from racial hatred and my music was an outlet for me to release the hell-bent reality that I experienced from my childhood til now.
I sincerely thank all of the listeners who have reached out to me after experiencing my biggest record that shares some of my story. I intended to speak up for those who had no voice and those who have experienced similar happenings. My deceased mother, Julia Ann Fetters is who I also wanted to shed light on and keep alive. This woman meant the world to me and my brothers as she suffered from so many things including being the woman who chose to have children with a African-American man despite her family disagreeing and abandoning her for that. I can't thank her enough for bringing me into this world and giving me a chance to survive the tragedies and become triumphant ! Rest In Peace momma !
