In my previous video, I decoded / picked / cracked this lock using the "Indirect" method, but here I show a faster method. Note that the Indirect method works on lots of different types of locks, whereas this more direct method only works on some of them.

Here is the link to the Indirect method for this lock:    • (Picking 144) How to decode most comb...

  • I now have a collection of 10+ bikes! Thank you so much! But in all seriousness, I had a bike that I haven't used in years, and there was a bike lock attached, I cracked it in 5-10 minutes. Then my dad randomized it for me again, and cracked it again! Thanks so much for this mostly useless (but fun) skill.
  • I have been trying to find the combination to a motorcycle lock for over a year. No it wasn't on the motorcycle...lol, but I watched your video and decided to follow your method halfway through and it just popped open. Your a genius. Thank you so much. Definitely going to subscribe to your channel.

My lock is this and has brocken so that the combination will change randomly this saved me so much time opening it. Best youtube video ever
  • Crazy how fast that worked. I had a four tumbler bike lock that is a much different design but after going through the first 1000 combinations by hand I saw this video and after a few minutes thinking wasn’t going to work, low and behold the first two stuck and then all I had to do was run through 1-9 on the last two which took a minute and presto! Thank you so

This worked, thank you! I hardly ever use my bike lock and forgot the combination :)
  • Thanks, I just bought a similar lock from Amazon and somehow managed to immediately change the code and get it stuck. It took me a good 15 minutes to get the technique right but I finally opened it again, saved me an embarassing return.

It's alway a relief when the lock pulls apart. These bike locks are really hard sometimes to hold, pull and turn. Especially when the wheels turn hard because of corrosion. Last time it took me 15 minutes to get one open with 4 wheels and false gates in the wild. My hands hurt a lot afterwards ;-)
  • My bike lock was old and there were no signs of hardness to move because like when I thought I had one, it turned easily. Then, I was so mad because this video was wrong and I twisted and turned the lock and it opened. Thank you very much. Even I I once hated the video, I now loves this video into bring certain events and coincidentally making my lock open. Liked.

I ran into a lady today in the bike parking area. Someone had emptied her tire and chained their bike to hers in an effort to steal her bike or something. She was on the phone with the police for a good 10 minutes. After she got off the phone I asked if she was okay and she explained that someone had locked their bike to hers and she couldn't go home. I have memories as child of figuring out this method on my own bike lock so I figured I'd give it a go. Imagine her surprise when I unlocked it in a mere 5 seconds. The lock was set at 127. The combination... 126. Hahaha!

One of my kids accidently changed the combination on a Master bicycle lock. Figured out the code in less than 20 seconds using your advice.
  • @WilliamPozo
With the help of your video I was able to unlock one of these cylinder bike locks. For my kids. Appreciate your help with this thank you. William.

Forgot my "Onguard" code and tried my luck with youtube unsuccessfully until this video. All in, took me less than 6 minutes to unlock, 5 minutes to view your video and 30 seconds to open. Genius! Like! Like! Like!
  • @lttlstory
Excellent! Thank you. That's worked for an old (but very tough) 4 wheel Magnum bike lock

I found a 5 number Provelo lock in the bushes and of course it was locked. I wacthed your video and in a ½ hour I openend he lock with help of your video. I changed the the number as discribed in your other video. Good job! I gonna use the lock for secure my motorbike.
  • @LockFumbler
Great demonstration 👍 This is why false gates are so necessary in every combination lock... Cheers 🍻

I have a hard time feeling when a wheel is on the right number, but there is an easy way: when it’s on the right number and you pull hard, the next wheel becomes difficult to turn. Example, if the wheels are ordered as in the video: set the fourth to zero, pull hard, and see how difficult it is to rotate the third one. It’s going to be easy, no matter how hard you pull, unless the fourth one is on the correct number. So try 0, 1, 2, etc. once you find it, move to the next one (try different numbers on the third one and see which one makes the second wheel hard to pull under tension).
