Imagine being there when it actually happened. The enemy that’s supposed to be in its last days suddenly roaring back to life and going on the offensive. Must’ve been a crazy surprise for the Allies.

Lol, I remember when people were mocking this CoD because of how 'terrible' it was. You don't hear many people saying that after Vanguard. Compared to that game, WWII is a masterpiece in historical storytelling. SHG just hasn't been the same since Glen Schofield left.

One thing I don’t feel that’s properly represented is the trees, they were one of the most deadly parts of the bulge because every time artillery would hit the forest and a tree branch broke it would shatter into small razor sharp twigs that would impale allied forces. And while it might not seem all to bad these twigs that are sharp as a knife and flying at 400 mph they kill as fast as a bullet. But this is something that a lot of games and movies will miss as it isn’t exactly the first thing that would come to mind.

Again no HUD flying is something else, this and battlefield. Great quality

One of the best CoD campaigns ever. The story was amazing. When Pearson started losing his mind, it really showed the realism of how WW2 affected people and changed them for the worst. I might even play the campaign again now that I saw this video, it’s one of my favorite CoD campaigns of all time.

Say what you will about the historical accuracy in this game, but you can't deny that the visual presentation is great and has aged like a fine wine.

I never really understood why everyone thought Pierson was losing it after the call for air at the end. Yes it was inside the safe zone but he honestly didnt really have a whole lot of options

I'm From Pakistan, My Grandfather was in British Army in ww2, he told us stories of winter battles in ww2 and now i can imagine how tough it was at that time..

WW2 is such a underrated game, I love how they tried new things and I just love the dynamic and the story.

I guess the reason we can sit and play these games is due to sacrifices all those young men and women gave. Both my grandfathers fought in WW2. One was British infantry and the other was a British Commando. They never said much about it other than it was terrifying. They were both 20 when they joined up. God bless them all.

I remember my grandfather telling me how snow was no obstacle to them in the Ardennes, "We used to just glide over the terrain like it wasn't even there..."

I’ll give it to you, you know your way round the sniper! 👌🏼 but the no hud flying is tremendous!

I liked the BotB mission. The little bit at the beginning offered a bit of world building and downtime before the German charge we were anticipating would happen

I know they're American but my God the friendly fire when playing the P-47 was insane!
