There are SO MANY young and extremely talented violinists, but Ms. Jansen is one of the VERY few musicians in the world that can refine/distill the sound of her violin into absolute pure gold and instill in it every single kind of human emotions and feelings...

I saw her playing several times. In the beginning 10 years ago as a promising violinist in den Haag. This concert by Mendelssohn moves my heart and bring me to tears

She is completely invested in this piece, this has to be one of the finest interpretations out there, just wonderfully played, so much nuance without ever losing clarity.

As a violin player of 15 years, I have to say, it's like an honor to watch Janine. Seeing her clear passion in the way she plays makes all my own emotions flutter! I think this is the best performance of this piece on YouTube that I've seen. One of the best sensations a violinist can feel imo is that deep emotion that gives you the ability to move your body as your playing. And trust me that's difficult. Janine does it and still plays incredibly. *applauds*

There are many great performances of this piece which is one of, if not the signature concerto in the virtuoso violin repertoire. But, for my money, Ms. Jansen delivers one of the finest interpretations EVER here. Pure, beautiful technique plus she takes an extremely emotional and expressive line without going over the top. This is as close to perfection as it gets in this world IMHO. Love this performance. I saw her perform Mendelssohn in person a number of years ago and it was one of the great experiences of my entire life. No exaggeration.

Everybody has his or her style of performance. Don't be so picky about her dress and or her attitude. This is one of the most famous and difficult piece of music. Just close your eyes and enjoy it. I think she has performed it with a lot of sensation and emotion. Great job.   .

The number of views [over 3,000,000] tells you a lot about this piece and the number of people who truly like Janine Jansen. And, of course, I truly love her. Hard to imagine this amount of ability! Pure magic.
