Live, Laugh, Let's Talk( Losing someone in my community)

On January 25th 2018, I had just gotten to English class when I heard kids in my class talking about somebody that had just got surgery and how they thought he was doing well and that it was a shame he had passed away. I had just taken my math quarterly and was in gym the period before that so I didn't have access to any electronics til then.

They told me a boy who had been battling cancer at our Sister school had passed away that day. And my heart dropped as soon as I heard that. I had no idea how or what to feel. My mom and sister had also messaged and emailed me telling me the news. My Little sister who went to the school, just told me how lost and broken everyone was because of this heartbreaking news.
