Finally a video that actually shows how to get past the damn immobilizer problem! Thanks for sharing brother.

If you have to use a transponder programmed to the vehicle, the immobilizer is not tricked, you are for having to take extra steps.

Hello. Do I need that transponder to get my new unprogramed key to start the ignition?
  • Cool. Thanks bro. I'm about to tackle this job, and this tip comes in handy.

I just found it in my old key housing. I put it in the new key housing and the car now starts🎉

I had to replace the immobilizer chip. How should I go about programming it?
  • If you could just do another video showing how close the chip needs to be to the reader (what exactly does the reader look like?) and Does the key light stop flashing when you put the chip that close?

Ok so my green key light wont come on at all any ideas i have to yank the steering wheel up and down and it sometimes pops up

I’d just super glue that little transponder chip in a spot where it gets read. Then any key would work. In my opinion, a car of that vintage doesn’t need that much security. One still has the key-cut security of old. Then new keys will only run $2.99 not $150 (if you didn’t need towing).

Anybody have a bypass for the circuit? My Pilot doesn’t always start with either key. I don’t want to spend too much on an old car that is fine when it starts

Can anti theft system can be triggered by trying to remove radio without tools, now my car wont keep running for more than half second. How do i fix that?
  • @diwanlimpopo755
Halp me sir my car having same problem but I can't get around here
  • Or used mobilizer chip next to the reader but remove chip from your key becouse wil course pronlem
  • Order i mobilizer with a key then use just mobilizer and pass the chip to your key this way don’t need second key
  • What happens if I don’t have a transponder?? I only got a valet key, and it does exactly the same noise like that car in the beginning. It cranks sounds like almost starting but nothing happens. The green light key is flashing all the time. How do I get around that? Does it need to be reprogrammed? Should I call a key guy?

Ummm could you put the camera closer so we all could actually see what you are doing?

I'm an automotive locksmith. It's a known thing sometimes cheap aftermarket transponders won't program. We mostly use OEM so no issues. The cheapies can work and 3 months down the road stop working. If you are doing DIY I guess that's OK but if you run a business and charge customers that isn't acceptable. If they don't like our prices they are free to call Chuck in a truck. Is he going to fix it in 3 months when it stops working?

You can put that transponder inside the key by opening the key. On Honda any how.
