  • I find that most of the time I find fault with my husband it is over silly small factors and is due to a bad and ungrateful attitude. If I just look around my home, I quickly realized I would not have any of these things if it were not due to his dedicated hard work each and every day. He is so faithful to provide! I then realize how much this part of his heart God appreciates and honors, and so should I. Then in the end, I feel corrected for a grumbling and silly fault finding attitude. These days in the midst of raging woman's rights, a lot of women feel their husbands "owe" them more than just hard dedicated work. I think it is very sad and harmful to the family unit.

I'm a childless Christian woman but I'm still just as valuable to God.

Thank you for your videos. Love listening to the scripture too. A fresh appreciation for my husband this father's day. Found out on April 17th (our 20th anniversary) that he has cancer. After a month in the hospital he is home with us again. Thought we were losing him. A reminder that every day is a blessing and our lives are so fragile. Women please don't take a single moment with your husband for granted 🙏

I find that the more I put my husband first (not above God, but above kids & home) the more the other things fall into line. If he feels listened to & respected he will back me up on child matters instead of trying to impose ONLY his will on them. If he feels paid attention to, he doesn't care about messes laying around (he sometimes is the reason for the messes LOL) and he might even say something like, "oh who cares about the dishes, lets go out for ice cream." There have been times when he is the one that has helped put my priorities in order - a long time ago I used to do in home elder care. This was so I could stay home & help earn a little 'fun' money for us. I could bring my toddler with me & I could arrange my hours while my older daughter was in school. One time I was contemplating missing a school event because I had a cleaning date scheduled. My husband quickly corrected me & told me I "would reschedule that cleaning & I WOULD be at our daughter's event. the cleaning job was not to interfere with our kids - the whole reason I got to stay home was so THEY came first." That really corrected my attitude! I realized that chasing a little bit of money was actually causing me to leap frog right over my husband, kids, & home. Now I have learned to say "no" to many things and to not feel guilty. I can quickly get overwhelmed & I suffer from some chronic illness & a serious injury that has a way of rearing it's head when I get stressed. I just told my husband this week, "no more running, or helping any friends for the rest of the weekend. I need to attend to my own affairs for a while." I have had many friends calling on me for help or attention & I have been falling behind in my own duties. It IS nice to help your friends, but I committed myself to getting my own stuff done & today I knocked it out of the park!!!! And it felt so so so so good to just be home!

I love working on my home, while listening to your videos. I find comfort in what you share because living in a world and in my community (so cal) that does not see the value in being a SAHM, being a wife that submits to her husband, being a family who isn’t ashamed of letting others know that Sundays are dedicated to church and family…it can be isolating. However, your videos give me the encouragement I so need. Thank you and God bless you and your family.
  • New sub here! Your message was jam packed with gems of scripture and wisdom. Thank you!! I have four children, 8 and under. I struggle with my 3yr old son. I will keep praying and lifting him up. I hope he starts to see the Lord's blessings.
  • This is the first time I have seen one of your videos and what a breath of fresh air!! To be so young and so wise is so inspirational to see! Such a beautiful spirit and life! God's fingerprints are all over this video! Keep sharing His Word in an applicable way, the world needs more of this!❤

That's exactly what I have been trying to do for so many years now -BALANCE- But I've found that I will have good and bad days, and that is OK. 😌 I've really taken a step back this year and try to make getting enough sleep and taking care of my family and home before doing the things I want to do. And I have felt a lot of peace from it. 🕊

This was so very good! Thank you. I love ❤ your channelI have recently been praying about where God wants to use me in our church. Our Lutheran Church runs a parochial school that covers pre-school through 8th grade. Last Sunday the principal approached me and asked if I would be a volunteer as a school librarian. Answered prayer.
