I am recently out to my parents and mentioned the word cis in conversation, my dad, being new to this term, asked for clarification via saying “that’s like a muggle, right?”
  • So I’m non-binary and when I’m at work when one of my managers talks over the mic she says “Okay ladies, gentlemen, and menaces to society.” I’ve never laughed harder I love her dearly.
  • Flashbacks to my trans friend(ftm) telling someone that's he's trans and that person responding "you will never be a girl your just confused" took all of my strength not to laugh at the look on her face my my friend started beaming.
  • Story time ! [transphobic mother] In the car one night, my mother just stopped be from getting out and showed me this thing on Facebook about how “transwomen are taking away what the word woman means”. I just looked at her and said “how r they taking it away?” And she said “because they are!” And I said “ok, how?” And she was silent for awhile. She finally turned to me again and said “They’re taking MY women hood away! I don’t want to meet with someone and have to tell them I don’t have a penie” and I said “well don’t then? They don’t have to know that information anyway? And if you’re that worried about it, just tell them your a cis-woman, not what’s in your pants?” Then she started getting mad saying “Again with this cis stuff! I don’t wanna be called a “cis woman” and I want to be a woman! And so I shut her up by giving the point of “yea, well trans woman don’t want to be called a “trans-woman” they want to be called a woman, but people like you aren’t allowing that. And it’s also people like you who get mad that we separated cis and trans women with names, EVEN THO THATS WHAT U ASKED FOR. I’m a man mother, I don’t want you and others to call me “trans-man” I just want u to call me a man- but you won’t do that, will you?” And she shut tf up.

Fun fact about Maddie Blaustein (the Meowth voice actor): Not only was she a trans woman, she was also intersex. Double the representation. She was one of my main inspirations to get into voice acting, and I’m sure the same can be said for some other trans voice actors. Rest In Peace, Maddie, thank you for being a part of my childhood.
  • Archaeologists: Yeah trans people are valid Anthropologists: Yep definitely real Geologists: R O C K S
  • When I'm having a bad day or needing a good laugh, I always come back to your channel and watch the LGBTQ and Trans memes.
  • Fun fact: The ancient greeks viewed Dionysus, who had been disguised as a girl to hide him from Hera growing up, as the patron saint of trans people. They also believed that trans people occurred because Apollo would sometimes create people with the wrong genitals when drunk. Considering that Dionysus is also the god of alcohol, what's this say about their relationship?
  • As an asexual, I find it very interesting that when two skeletons were discovered to have been embracing during a major disaster, the immediate conclusion was "lovers," and when it was determined that they were both female, they were further classified as "lesbians." Like. If my town explodes, that could be me and my sister or me and my afab sibling, or me and my female best friend, holding onto and comforting each other as we die. I mean, why does every image of love have to be assumed to be a sexual or romantic relationship? Love is so much more than that. I love a lot of people very deeply, and I have no romantic or sexual interest in any of the people I love.

I came out to my assistant manager a few weeks ago and he invited me to a bar because they host a Mario Kart tournament every Monday. I came to the bar in my current favorite outfit (which presents in my prefered way) and he said that he was so happy to see me as my authentic self and used my prefered pronouns and name. Omfg! He's so supportive! 😭😭😭

A day of wholesome facts for OT 1) The creator of the polio vaccine, Jonas Salk, could've patented it and made billions, but he didn't because he thought the vaccine belonged to the people. 2) There's competitions strictly for dog surfing. Every year the Del Mar Dog Beach hosts a competition for dog surfing that raises money for animal in need.

The Problem with "Dead Gender" would be that the dead name is something a trans person factually had. The assigned gender at birth however was never true for the person as it was falsely assigned to them. I hope you can understand what I mean.
  • i looked you up because someone said you sounded like markiplier, then immediately discovered you were a trans ally so i already like you :> you also seem very chill and pleasant!!
  • 16:29 This is what made my egg crack. Literally I was singing Karaoke with my dad and someone called me his son. That split second before my dad corrected him was the greatest joy I had ever felt. That’s when I was like oh crap I’m a man

Fun fact about Statler and Waldorf, the two heckling muppets: Waldorf's "wife", Astoria, is just Statler in a dress and wig.
  • @dcornect53
As someone studying Anthropology, I can tell you that so far gender is not a a clearly defined global-culturally defined thing, and that many nonbinary and trans genders actually played an important, mostly spiritual part in many human cultures. So don't forget, if you AREN'T cis, then you could be a deity's reincarnation, or a prophet, or a spiritual guide, or a great healer of all wounds by the very nature of your gender.

3:48 Ah yes, the clbuttic problem. This is common when searching and replacing. It gets its name from replacing all instances of "ass" to "butt", therefore "classic" becomes "clbuttic".
