Vlogging at Moshup Beach with the K1000, May 25, 2023

The problem with vlogging, much as I love it, between the time spent shooting (on multiple devices), editing the video to create a coherent story, processing the images, and choosing the music and deciding where to add it, it is extremely time consuming. To wit, I shot this back in May and am just now completing it. There are also many more back-logged videos that I am eager to get to, several from Ireland.
The other problem is I have way too many interests, activities, and projects, and not enough time.
The delay with this video is partly because I shot the stills in BW film and just recently found the time to develop and scan it - and I can't rave enough about my new Essential Film Holder - wow! - after spending years futzing with various light sources, homemade film holders, anti-newton glass - the EFH is a game changer! Smooth as silk, and digitizing a roll of uncut film literally took only minutes.
I didn't know what to expect with these photos, in fact I was a bit skeptical, but I gotta say - what with the fog, and the Tri-X film, and the K1000 - along with my computer software - I was able to create exactly the textures and mood I was hoping for. I never would have been able to produce these images in the darkroom, to be honest.
The only thing I don't like about these videos - and is the reason I have a wireless microphone, so I can stand back, away from the camera, but I end up doing the walking-talking thing anyway - is the up-the-nostril footage: too close, uncontrolled light, bringing out all my worst features.

Great photos……was expecting you to give us a tune, but the atmospheric shots will do!
