Introducing Draxon! The Blue Tongued Skink

This is Draxon (or Drax), my Blue Tongued Skink. He's about 8 months old. He is a Halmahera Indonesian Blue Tongued Skink to be precise.

Halmahera skinks (Tiliqua gigas gigas Halmahera) are a species of blue-tongued skink that hail from the large island of Halmahera in the North Maluku province of Indonesia.

His vivarium is more kitted out now compared to what it originally looks like in this video, so don't be alarmed! He has all the required equipment like UVB bulb, heat lamp, thermostat with sensor, temperature and hygrometer (humidity), substrate etc to keep him a happy little fella!
