Tesla dropped a few bombshells at earnings call & made record revenues in Q2 2024 !!!

$30 B in the bank and no debt. What’s more important- Tesla is fully invested in the future. You want a company with lots of debt and virtually no investment in the future- look to GM and Toyota.

I think it's a bit deceptive to report Cybertruck is already profitable. They are getting over $100K for each truck at the moment, which is a kind of fantasy land, at least for a few more months. These profit figures will obviously fall when the normal pricing is applied to the different Cybertruck configurations next year (or maybe later this year?). Remembering the Plaid, the depreciation for the $100K+ Cybertrucks will be rather severe as more and more Cybertrucks are seen on the roads. Once the magic is gone and Cybertrucks become a common thing, the used vehicle prices will likely plummet. I got my order in late, so I probably won't see my truck until 2028, but by then, it will be cheaper and probably up to version 4 by then. Don't get me wrong, I still totally want one, but as a stockholder, I want to make sure there is full visibility into real world numbers and forecasts.

I think B T C and E T H are more likely to retest the resistance and then go down. And yet if you watch the BBC News today it has a video headlined 'Tesla records lowest profit margin for five years'.

This drop in stock price gives retail investors a chance to buy low. It would be good if Tesla had more retail investors. Wall Street wouldn't be able to manipulate Tesla's stock price so easily. Jeannine

I think Tesla laid an egg. It missed EPS estimates by -16.15% with vehicle delivery down nearly 5% year over year. So maybe next year because everything Elon discussed that you might want to cheer about was next year maybe. Nothing to see here this year

Need strong conviction to be ridding Tesla wild stock market price girations

Looks like Tesla passed on the credits to their customers. They keep their auto margin the same but lowered prices. Those credits are probably going to rise with ICE producers pulling back EV production. I see more price cuts in the future if the credits keep rolling in.
