Late 80's and thru all the 90's just hit diffferent

I am surprised that Suzumiya Haruhi did not make the list, considering how viral it was when it first came out.

I imagine 2014 mustve been a pretty stacked year for anime openings,the tokyo ghoul opening obviously,the first noragami opening,no game no life,your lie in april,silhouette. That year also had 2 of my personal favorites with ambiguous and strike back

the fact that 3 Dragon ball openings are present before 2000 only shows how big and influential toriyama sama was and still is even after his passing. RIP Akira sama

I think it's a great editing decision to show each song at two spots. helps people like me, who don't know most songs, to get a better feeling for them.

I do miss the 80's / 90's style of anime sometimes, it's very charming.

Its really fascinating seeing the different eras of anime by how the most popular illustration style evolved over time.

Shoutout to the AIR opening, I didn’t expect it there but it’s such a big part of the Japanese VN otaku crowd that Tori no Uta has a nickname of Japan’s national anthem. And plus, KyoAni did animate it, that alone deserves some respect. Thanks!

2017-2022 The new wave of modern shonen anime.

Candy Candy was the only anime that my parents watched when they were kids in Mexico. Going to visit family and all the adults sit down to watch Candy Candy in the living room like when they were kids was so nice. I loved that show even though it is old.

Man, Coboy Bebop is 1998, One Piece release in 1999. fells like "it was just 2-3 years ago". i'm that old.
