The late Dale Winton narrates a compilation of disastrous moments from TV game shows including the woman who broke her leg and still finished third on The Krypton Factor.

As since because this was recorded after 9pm, there is some strong language which could offend some viewers.

The woman who decided not to go on a date with Rodney Alcala (serial killer) because something about him seemed “off” even after she did initially choose him from a group of multiple blind date bachelors, is a flawless example of how following your instincts and intuition can save your life! 🙌

The Dating Game didn't go horribly wrong. The woman decided not to go out with the creep. That's a win in my book.

Completing an obstacle course with a broken leg and in terrible pain is incredible. What an amazing strong and determined woman is Judith.

“This is teatime telly!” Is quite possibly the most British thing I’ve ever heard come out of another human’s mouth 😂
  • Judith Stafford on the Krypton Factor was just amazing. To finish the assault course with that injury was incredible.

I feel so bad for Whyte. He seems like such a kind man. That had to be humiliating. It's so gross how we did things back then. And it really hasnt changed. Now it's the wild west of the internet. Everyone is photoshopped and hidden behind anonymity to say whatever they want. I really wish people were kinder to each other. I feel better knowing he's found love.

01:19:00 I read somewhere that when Bob came out of the soundproofed room, he overheard someone say, "I bet 'turkey' is number one" (referring to the third question). So he knew that "turkey" was a good answer to one of the questions, but he didn't know which one, so he just said 'turkey' to everything.

The tonal whiplash is insane, I can’t believe they included near death injuries and serial killers with slut coming up on countdown

The poor girl who had no right answers was IMHO a classic example of one of the three classic categories of fear or trauma as a reaction to fear. Everyone is familiar with fight or flight. But there are actually three classic fear responses, fight, flight, or freeze. She appeared to be in some kind of fear response (my guess anyway) where she could not remember her French, her Italian, or really respond to the questions other than to stay frozen and say "pass". That is how it seemed to me, less of her being dumb, and more of a contestant being frozen in a classic fear response. Her brain was in what is commonly called the "deer in the headlights" response where the deer sees that danger coming but is frozen and cannot move. The part of her thinking that would allow her to respond was that deer. People think that everyones fear response should be the same that, if she was so scared she would have been shaking, eyes wide open, etc. But, some people go into a response in reaction to a traumatic situation as I think she did of going into her best "nice girl" presentation of herself thinking that if she kept smiling and doing her best to give polite but very short answers she could make it through. It seemed to be her way of coping with being frozen.

The best part of the Dalí episode is none of his answers were, strictly speaking, incorrect. One of my favorite artists.

33:53 As soon as the clip from "The Dating Game" came up, I knew immediately what it was going to be about. Though it's unfortunate that this man was eventually revealed to be a serial killer, at least the girl who picked him never went on the date with him.

This show reminds us of all the great game shows/TV we have lost over the years.

1:43:55 RIP, Bob Barker. He just passed away on August 26, 2023, just a few months shy of his 100th birthday. After Barker's retirement from The Price is Right in 2007, it has since been hosted by comedian Drew Carey, who was previously known from "The Drew Carey Show" and "Whose Line Is It Anyway?".

The person I really feel sorry for on the Krypton Factor is the one that finished the obstacle course behind the woman who had a broken bloody leg.
  • "I have no legs." If that line was a joke, that lady should go into standup because she's the next Steven Wright. That's the most hilarious deadpan delivery of any line I have ever heard in my life.

The Swedish host vomiting described as "Shouting soup" cracked me up.😂

1:47:20 The Yolanda incident on the US TPIR continues to be one of the most talked about moments in the show's history to this day. The announcer at the time, Johnny Olson, had the perfect response. As for Bob, he doesn't know what happened until the first ad break. He came back saying "I'd like to welcome you back to The Yolanda Hour".😁

Judith Stafford can't be described in mere words. What she did was absolutely amazing - and insane!
