I don't know if that's the first time video of a satellite being placed in geostationary orbit has been shared with the public, but it's the first time I've seen it. It's really out there.

You don't see stars because the camera F-Stop reduces the brightness of the Satellite so as not to overexpose the image. The same reason you didn't see stars in images from the surface of the Moon.

Wow unbelievable pictures. I will save this video to come back to it over time and to remember that we are all living on this beautiful blue marble. I know space exploration has other priorities but Spacex and NASA should really give us more of this footage of earth from a further distance.
