I hate it when mobile cranes randomly explode. This was the 3rd time this week

Something interesting in the opposite carriageway? Let's all rubberneck and have a look! (Not trying to insult anyone in particular, it's a universal issue).

“Rubbernecking” is a natural response, manifested in caution to an adverse or changing dynamic. This term is so often used incorrectly and in a derogatory context when people are simply trying to take stock of a changing situation. What would concern me even more is if people didn’t react and just carried on driving...

As if that dude in the farmhouse between the carriageways didn’t have enough road noise, now he has a mobile crane exploding outside his front door

This was awesome! I hope no one was injured in this blast 💥, and thank you for posting this! This is by far the best video content I’ve seen on YouTube this entire evening

Looks like emergency vehicles were already on the scene. I presume the crane was on fire before the explosion.

I was literally the last car in the whole queue 😂 so first off when they turned us all around.

This added an hour and a bit on to my journey, diverted and could see the crane to the right across the reservoir along with the standstill traffic. Absolutely knackered sitting in the car for 3 hours. Hope everyone is safe though

This is why I always join the motorways and dual carriageways as fast as my car will possibly go, regardless of the speed limit. It's a policy that's saved my life on numerous occasions. You wouldn't believe the amount of times I've witnessed fatal multi car pileups right behind me when I've pulled in. Any slower and I'd have been right in the middle of them myself.

A load of sites are using this footage covered with ads, I hope you charged them for it

What level of incompetence render mobile cranes “explosives” I really want to know the guys who manage this… they are legends…
  • @MessOfThings
What's the rubbernecking part? It's perfectly sensible to slow down when you pass the scene of an unknown emergency.

Hello Matthew! Is it okay to use it please ? Thanks in advance!

Why did they use Red Adair to put the crane fire out?
