Try the bearing free version of the Air Raid Siren. It printed perfectly for me with no adjustments at all. All you need to add is just a little bit of lubricant and it works great. Super loud.

I was once 3D printing some parts and some very strange and creepy noises started coming from the printer. As far as I can tell, the part cooling fan was causing the parts to whistle during certain parts of the printing. Pretty niche and not that useful, but could imagine designing a part to do this purposefully on a given printer.

Hey I’m the designer of the V29. Super cool to see my whistle on this after all that time so thank you! I learned so much from designing it that I’m actually an engineer now and this is what got me started on that path. I really want encourage any aspiring designers or engineers to just design your own parts and go print them! The ability to have an idea and see it come to life is so powerful! It changed my career and my life.

my engineering class did a 3d printing collaboration with a nearby university. it was difficult to turn because of the extreme gear ratio, but it was earsplitting once you got it going. The entire building could hear it loud and clear.

The loudest thing you can 3d print is the 3D printer itself. Though they are disqualified.

Damn you, Angus!!! I'm printing the Maya Death Whistle on an Anycubic Kobra and the part cooling fan on this blows at just the right angle that it's blowing the whistle AS IT PRINTS, like blowing over the opening of a bottle. It's terrifying!!!
-
7:29 There's no question that the sound they make, is truly terrifying, take a listen! ad aaaahhhhhh!! The horror!
-
9:22 You have to blow in it with the most pressure you can generate resulting in a rather short sound but insane loud.
-
I printed that air raid siren a couple of years ago. Had the same issues with rubbing (particularly the drum part) but I eventually got it running smoothly and sweet jesus is it loud! I've only ever run it up fast a couple of times because it's more than loud enough to elicit complaints from the neighbours even when used indoors. Still one of my favourite printed things.
-
The Mayan Death Whistle was great on Halloween to scare/startle trick or treaters as I opened the door. :) Probably the most fun I've had on Halloween since my kids grew up.
-
Honestly I'm a little surprised how good the ocarina sounds I own a clay one and yours sounds very similar in tone and clarity (and playing lol)

The neighbor next door is wondering why so many loud noises are coming from across:

FYI: The Microcenter deal comes with a $10 off filament coupon packed inside. This brings the cost of the printer down to $89!

I had a former boss who had an actual US Army Air raid siren. Took it out to the loading docks for a test run, holy hell Batman!! Louder than any Metallic or GnR concert. Loved watching you test the various items. I did print that Mayan death whistle for a friend, what a scary sound they make

That Death Whistle is one of my favourites. If you really give it a hard lung full it is quite horrific like a loud scream. I hid around a corner and blew it just as my friend was coming out of the bathroom. I didn't get much of a reaction from him but not because it didn't scare him, but because his body literally froze with fear haha.

Historian:*doesn’t know what a thing does or is for* Also Historian: it’s ritualistic

The water whistle is my favorite. I had one as a kid (that, no joke, was the same color as the one you printed) and it was my favorite thing ever. I was forever annoying my older brother...and my cats. Thanks for the nostalgia.
-
The V29 Whistle is an excellent print!!! Different sized chambers make for a nicely dissonant LOUD Whistle!!!😎👍🏻
-
Thank you for the MicroCenter code!! I gave your code to my entire architecture class, and 6 people have bought one so far! I appreciate all your good content! Cheers from Dallas, TX.

I’m definitely going to try the bird whistle and the tiny noise maker. Those seem super easy and fun.
