Saw it opening night in a sold-out theater. The crowd was electric. Cheering throughout. Those were the days.

The combination of Philip K. Dick's story, Paul Verhoeven's directing and Arnold Schwarzenegger's acting made this movie just brilliant. Sci-Fi, Action and Humor, it has it all.

I think part of the reason why Total Recall and all those 80s/90s movies are pure legend... Is actually the Music. The Music was awesome and at times, it was as if the music was playing in the background, while the actors delivered their lines - they fit so perfectly together. Modern movies just have some throwaway, same old same old, music that seems added as an afterthought to the movie.

Paul Verhoeven is an undisputed science fiction genius.

This is the best movie Schwarzenegger has ever been in, and I think he can thank Verhoeven for that. I just wish Verhoeven would have done more movies like this. Robocop, Total Recall and Starship Troopers are some of the best movies ever made.

Every time I see the ending of Total Recall, I'm grinning like a total idiot. This movie makes me feel like a million bucks. Everything about it is just fantastic.

The best Sci-fi/Action Movie in the 90's. This is a real Classic already and it still out number alot of todays sci-fi/action Movies. When it comes to Movies and Music Nothing beats the great 80's and the 90's. This Era was the Golden Era from Hollywood in my Eyes.

This is the only movie that when finished watchin I can watch it right from the beginning again. The films a masterpiece, has SO MANY memorable moment with such a great story especially for its time and I think its one of the best films ever made.

'Action packed' today means Michael Bay explosion films. Back then 'action packed' meant a good riveting story with some special effects to assist it.

Hard to believe that this movie we take so much for granted these days, was so close to never being made at all.

As a 13 year old, I went to the theater with four friends to see this. The live audience was roaring during this movie. It was wild.

i love paul verhoeven...he's full of life and likes to pursue his dreams...his films are awesome...i wish we had more "adult" themed films today. the violence in this and Robocop are top notch...they shock but have context...

1980-1990 an amazing decade for movies....and soundtracks. Feel privileged to have grown up and watched these movies when they were released.
