This is a pretty significant issue. Very unfortunate. It's great that you suggested others at the end.

Great job, BOS! Some eye-opening tests and analysis.

Great video! Please do more of this! ❤❤❤

Thank you for this and your other excellent videos! It seems as though the concentration of the chemicals decreases over time and I wouldn't be surprised if they disappear completely after a while. I purchased a CoreRO C1H just before it was discontinued. When I turned it on, I saw that the initial rinse of the RO filter created very foamy waste water. Thanks to your video, I was aware of the potential problem and flushed the device three times. I now handle it in such way that I discard the first new filtered water after a prolonged pause (e.g., after the night). Of course, I can't say whether this is sufficient, but I'm not going crazy about it. I wouldn't be surprised if this problem also affects many other RO systems, as there probably aren't that many manufacturers of RO membranes ... Again, thank you for your great work! Greetings from Germany!

Thanks for saving me, I was about to buy one! 🤗 Thankgod I do my research.
  • You are performing a great public service. Clean water should be at the top of everyone’s list.

Nice work on this channel + research! Have you tested the Waterdrop x12? Holding off on waterdrop until more research comes out, it's a bummer because their products are so compact.
  • @KA-bt7fw
Thank you for the information. Any updates would be much appreciated.

Great Videos! Keep em coming! Looking forward to the Waterdrop N1 or K19 reviews. I'm still undecided between a Waterdrop or The RKIN U1 Countertop RO.
  • I assume this has to do with the RO membrane not being flushed enough when new. Doesn't hurt to always flush double the recommended amount or more.
  • Wow, great great video! Thanks for sharing! What do you use for your family's water needs?
