I’m a fan of Barbara Kingsolver. I think Prodigal Summer is my favorite 😊 Great list!

I love this! So interesting to audit the authors you haven't even realized you return to. Pratchett is definitely a staple for me to, I think he's a most re-read probably. It is always hard to weigh love vs prolific chess in counting like this. I probably weigh Susanna Clarke and Pratchett at a similar level of love, but of course she has so few books she would never be a most read author! Fortunately the Milk is a joy, I did a side by side read of two different illustrations of it a couple years ago, it was brilliant. Man I need to get back to rereading his work too... So many here I want to get to, I've got two Kingsolver books but haven't tried her yet. Wow that you read all of Millard's books in a year!

Kingsolver’s non-fiction book Holding the Line is a must read. Excellent!

Oh, great idea for a video! I'm reading Ann Patchett now and I appreciated what you said about her writing carrying you along but that it can sometimes feel a bit boring. Captured how I am feeling at the moment! I loved Commonwealth and Bel Canto - but that ending??

Candace Millard is somebody who has been on my TBR for so long but I just haven't gotten around to reading! I think I'm really going to like her books b/c I love deep dives into random historical events!

Terry Pratchett is the author who got me into reading, you've managed to avoid his discworld books somehow which is his best stuff. I would recommend 'Guards, Guards' or'Going Postal' as a good starting place, as its best to start at the beginning of one of the little subseries. I've never read Patchett or Kingsolver, I read most of John Green's books as a younger man too (I also am subscribed to awesomesocks), he is very samey. I do like Gaiman but the only books ove ever really loved of his were Good Omens and Ocean, American Gods didnt do much for me. The Emperor of All Maladies sounds really interesting.
