I bought a new band saw - 50% more power and 50% more depth of cut than my last one; after a week’s cold spell in the UK it was sooooo rusty, even though it was protected by paste wax. This system looks good. As always, Chris, thank you for sharing 🌞

Interesting video! I’m in KS so humidity isn’t a big problem but I still have to maintain my saw surface. I’ve been using a silicone lubricant by blaster and it seems to work well. Got the idea from a HS shop teacher. I’ve never heard anyone talk of using this before. Is there anything wrong with using these lubricants?
