Jared, about the whole "Everyone else has already done it" argument... Who cares? Who cares if the Game Grumps have played it before? Most people don't come to watch the game, they come to watch YOU play the game! So who cares if it's been done before, as long as you have fun, and it's entertaining!

Also, funny little factoid, I never knew the flower was called a fire flower. So I didn't know what to call it when I had that powerup. So for the longest time as a little kid my brother and I would call it "buck" because it sounded like Mario was saying "buck" whenever he shot out a fireball. Needless to say, nobody knew what the fuck I was talking about when I was saying you get buck.

This really made my day! I'm fairly certain I was playing this game before I was talking in complete sentences (or out of diapers yet now that I think about it) and just hearing those jingles opened a flood of nostalgia and memories of my childhood. Thank you kind stranger.

I really like that you're playing this game. I feel like Youtube has made people forget the original idea of "sitting down and relaxing playing a videogame leisurely", I see it with Letsplayers all the time, they're heavily critisized for not being perfect in every single way. But sometimes it's nice to sit down and enjoy the moment, have fun and relax while listening to someone talk and remember past times.

I legitimately enjoy this, and it brings back so many fond childhood memories. I'm glad I'm finally watching these videos. I know that many other people have played this, but something about watching your video for it makes me feel more nostalgic. It's probably the stories of your memories regarding the game. They bring me back to somewhat similar experiences. This was nice and pleasant; I definitely needed this, so thank you.

Jared's let's play channel is super refreshing. It's a lot easier to watch someone play a game they legitimately want to play rather than whatever happens to be popular at the time or keeping up with the latest memes.
