He lost to Ali and acquired greatness by defeating his ego

Honestly, Foreman looks like the most decent sportsperson I have ever seen. Despite being one of the greatest of all time.

it's sad like every interview with George Foreman is about how he lost to Ali not about his incredible career before fighting Ali and afterwards
  • @paulgilbert2506
The best punch of Ali's career... is the one he DIDNT throw RIGHT before Foreman goes down. Its so perfect the way he just watches him fall instead of hitting him again... which he easily could have.

He is so humble... a true champion.

Ali was bigger than boxing, bigger than sport - Poet, Philosopher, Humanitarian, Social activist, Inspiration to generations - God bless both Ali & Foreman. Great human beings.

2:05 - Ali's words of encouragement to George by voice mail. So helpful and inspiring.

Foreman shows his greatness as a boxer and more importantly as a decent person when he praises M Ali. I respect them both.

Even Joe frazier told in manilla he connect Ali with some shots which could’ve destroyed part of the building. Ali had a chin made out of iron.

George never talks himself up, ever, despite being one of the most Dominant boxers of all time. Humble, intelligent, well spoken and just a good human being.
  • Mr. Foreman has Integrity! It takes a Great Man to Praise another Man that he has Lost against! If only everyone in the World had Integrity like this!

Big George ... a real champ and one of the greatest of all times.

Foreman was indeed a raw power hitter. That loss by Ali was definitely a turning point. But I never knew he is also a born Christian. God bless him.
