She choreographed it herself. Paid homage to the first Wednesday and Morticia. She looks almost possessed and its hypnotizing. Great character work from Jenna Ortega. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻

The fact Jenna choreographed this herself and included the dance move from the original Wednesday Addams makes it all the better
  • Those EYES... She's got the moves, she's got the dress, but it's the eyes that make this dance so hypnotic! She's not just looking around - every eye movement, every stare follows the coreography too!
  • U would think this would be cringy, but she makes every move work. This is actually the first time I've actually been drawn in by someone's dancing. It's like hypnotizing.
  • She danced like a marionette controlled by a drunk puppeteer and She made it work!
  • I’m not only amazed by the dancing, but I noticed she keeps her eyes open at the same level the whole time, never blinks and the perfect amount of white space and position of eyes. I’m impressed.

I love this scene so much and Jenna Ortega's movements are captivating with her dark gaze and so beautifully perfect. 💃🖤🕺
  • She’s like one of those paradise birds attracting a mate, she did such a great job portraying Wednesday.

This song and Wednesday’s dance is brilliant. Jenna makes the best Wednesday. She’s so talented and extremely beautiful. I loved this show. I hope there’s going to be another season.

This is so hypnotic. I havent watch single episode but I have watched this scene dozens of times.
  • The way she uses her eyes makes this such an epic performance! Can't believe she choreographed this herself; fire!

I loved how she kept her stare and lips the same throughout the whole dance

🤣It's so hard trying to keep a straight face while watching this! The 1st time I just burst out loud. Weirdly funny yet amazing because the moves look different and weird but they suit her so much. It's epic. The timing too is perfect. Well, it's a school for the outcast. People would think she's crazy had she danced like this in a normie school inside the gym. She's the only one dancing LIVELY in there to be honest. If only nothing happened along the event then she and Tyler would've been announced as the Ravn King and Queen at the end.
  • as a dancer who’s been dancing for 12+ years, this dance is great. sure, it may not be the most difficult or most technical, but that is the point. It’s a dance Wednesday Addams would do, it’s kooky, it’s fun, and it’s crazy. Jenna did a great job choreographing this dance, and i’m so happy people are recreating it all over the world. I cant wait to see what is in store for season 2 with this series, it’s gonna be great.

0:54 This is absolutely brilliant. Doing the dance that Wednesday was teaching Lurch back in the original series was genius.

Her eyes and the fact she’s not smiling combined with her epic dancing are perfect
  • @idarkdark
She really nailed the 'non-expression' part of Wednesday so well, and the fact she managed to make a dance so expressive without showing any expression is amazing
