New Horizons Shouldn't Be An Animal Crossing Game - Video Essay

I feel that New Horizons was released earlier than it should have been due to the pandemic. At the end of the day, there’s not much you can do with new horizons, the villagers feel like robots and the social aspect of the game barely exists. A lot of their greatest features have been disregarded (plus?? Can I just say, we live on some kind of island resort! Wouldn’t it have been awesome if there was like, a hotel you could design once you got to 5-stars. It’s a 5-star island and no one really seems interested in coming to it often.) I just hope this doesn’t follow in suit for future developments in mainstream animal crossing games.

Wow, i never thought about that it could've been a designing island game, and, honestly I love it, I want it. Just like the dlc, you design one, and then go on to the next, and you can come back whenever you want to visit. And it doesn't have to be even a island, bcs, its nice, but sometimes i'm so tired of the island vibe and if a game like that included towns like in new leaf or say city folk, that would be lovely. Just imagine, if this game existed it would've been amazing for it to implement the dinamic of the dlc: a client asks for something, in this case it could be the townies, to make them them an island design based in what they want and items that have to be there just like with the houses. Plus, designing their own homes too. Theres enough characters to do this. An an island would take much much longer to complete, plus the homes. I'd say it would be nice if you should go talk to them in order to make their house. It would be incredible too itf they made to include the public buildings from the dlc AND, happy home designer into the main town (bcs there's a lot buildings that I wish they included in the dlc, aaand the roast being its own building back again like in new leaf because it was so cute and lovely). I always wanted more buldings in the main town to make it feel more lively and not having to invent from scratch what to do next because I haven't filled my island yet and don't know what else to do in that one empty space. Definitely this would be a dream come true. You could even be making multiple towns at once? If you are not inspired anymore and prefer doing another style or island for the moment. one in particular because its much more tiring Idk. Omg the thought of it makes so excited, so sad we didn't get this, and probably never will

Tbh I kinda disagree because playing new horizons is what got me into New Leaf so if new horizons wasn't an animal crossing game new leaf would probably be dead
