What marvelous advice! I've been a US high school teacher for 43 years - music and theatre - and had many students go on to university for acting - some successful - some not so much. But Joel's line, "There is no excuse anymore for doing nothing!" is so wise - and so true! Thank you - I'll bring this with me to school tomorrow.

  • Greetings from across the pond! I love seeing these videos. My family set up a trust/scholarship for RADA back in 2010/11, knowing the kinds of people it may go to warms my heart. I love all your videos! I’m very excited for both of you! Congratulations by the way ^_^

After seeing so many of your videos, I loved hearing you talk seriously about your personal lives. RADA is known by anyone around the world with a serious interest in film and theatre and your account of process of becoming were very honest and direct. We don’t see your acting on these videos but it’s very apparent that you’re both very talented people.
  • You two are the most likable and charismatic people I've seen on youtube in a long time. This all was great advice and info!
  • I love the RADA Audition, Recall and Experience with the UK Drama School Tips, Informative and Chatty Video, thank you, Joel and Lia!!! πŸ‡¬πŸ‡§πŸ˜

Great Vid! Nice one for getting it, must of been great! ( also you're watchable people! )
  • This was so interesting to watch! I decided to go straight into work rather than go to drama school so it was really cool to hear what it would have been like to go :)

I’ve been watching your channel for awhile, but just came across this episode, and wondered have either of you been cast in movies, etc. if not you will be, as you both will be very successful. You already are on u-tube, can’t wait to see what’s in your future. πŸ’•πŸ’•

It was really interesting to hear your about your experience at RADA. I definitely think your presence on Youtube will open up many more exciting opportunities for you both!
  • @gloriasteaching
Great video, thanks so much for sharing your insights and experiences! I know nothing about drama schools but that didn't keep me from keep listening to what you had to say. I do appreciate your honesty and I think that's one of the things that makes your videos so interesting and worth following,
  • @blvnkq
tysm for this! i won’t need this until like four years but i really hope i can keep practising and improving so i’m ready for it 😭 that tiny percentage both scared me and really motivated me. that tip about playing someone who you could play in real life really helped though.

YouTube is great for people who want to create their own work (which a lot of people have to do to get noticed). Creativity is key and however you get to create, do it! Finishing things-even crappy things-is a good boost as well. It doesn't have to be good (and initially it probably won't be lol), but at least it'll be finished. :P You guys are fantastic!
  • @aleks8165
Thanks for this video!! I was searching for this
