This may sound a little extreme, but Opeth are one of the main reasons why i'm still alive.

I discovered Opeth when I was 14. No one had heard of them at that time. When I was 18 I took guitar lessons and asked my guitar teacher (same age) if he had heard of them. He sat down and started playing Benighted. I was awestruck. Now 41 years old and still listening my friends. Here’s to another 30 years of Opeth.

I've been looking for this song for SO long, I'm so happy.. I never could remember the name, second that riff started all the hair on my arms shot up. Beautiful.

I have a friend that every time we hand out and there’s a guitar around he plays and knows every album of opeth.Thats why we hand out actually,he does it wonderfully!

I love their songs like this that just melodic and soft. Granted I like some of their more "growly" stuff too, .. but this kind of music strikes a chord with me more so than the others do.
